This project was a dust jacket for an already existing book. The book I chose is a horror/thriller story that revolves around a man who picks up a hitchhiker with a dark twist. The title is ‘Le Passager,’ a book by Patrick Senécal. The project was interesting to me as I had never done a dust jacket illustration before. I had to keep in mind that this image had to portray the whole story without being too obvious about the dark twist or too detailed. I believe I created an accurate and fitting dust jacket that matched the story and conveyed the dark vibe the story is supposed to give.
